Setouchi Triennale 2016 app for iPhone and iPad

The Seto Inland Sea has long been an important nexus of transportation. Boats from the mainland came and went, bringing new cultures and lifestyles to the islands dotting the Sea. Since then, the islands have developed their own unique culture, which remain today, set against the backdrop of tradition. However, in todays globalizing world, the islands are losing their unique characteristics because of the aging of the populations on the islands and the decline of the local area’s vitality. We are holding the International Art Festival, “Setouchi Triennale” in hope of bringing this vitality back to these islands, where nature and the lifestyles of the people have coalesced together. We aim to make the Seto Inland Sea a “Sea of Hope” for the world.

・APP confirm the venue maps of Setouchi Triennale and displays the current position on the map.

・You can receive the emergency and congestion information.

■Attention
1. There are situations where communication environment is not good in some venue of the Triennale. You should download the latest version before setting out.
2. iPod Touch is sometimes not to work correctly to display the current position because it is an APP that runs using GPS.
3. Images and maps that are used in our application are published for the purpose of viewing it when using the APP, we prohibit the use for other purposes.
4. It may change the artworks and ferrys/boats information which has been published in this APP in circumstances such as businesses without notice.
